Who is Phillip Day ?
 |
Phillip Day was born in England in 1960. He was educated at the Selwyn and Charterhouse and established several successful businesses in the UK and America throughout his twenties. Fed up with big government meddling, the political correctness agenda and damage being done to friends and family through ‘interventionist’ medicine, Phillip developed an interest in citizen’s advocacy and founded The Campaign for Truth in Medicine, which today boasts thousands of members worldwide, many of them doctors.
Phillip Day:
‘Today more than ever, the citizen should be properly informed. We want
to support our institutions but at the same time be prudent. In disease,
for instance, doctors treat the symptoms not the cause, so we are never
going to get on top of the problem. The public has little idea what to
do to avoid getting sick in the first place because no-one’s giving them
properly validated information. Today we have a medical system that
refuses to train doctors in nutrition, refuses
therapeutic nutrition to treat disease, and |
|
remains in denial over its own role in the demise of thousands of patients every year. The purpose of the Campaign is to help citizens make informed choices by providing them with scientifically grounded information not being shared by government, doctors or the media.’
Phillip Day is author of thirteen books on health, the latest of which, The Essential Guide to Water and Salt, was co-written with Dr F Batmanghelidj, one of the world’s foremost authorities on salt and hydration. Phillip’s speaking schedule takes him around the world, from Australasia to the Americas and Europe, and he has appeared in numerous documentaries, radio shows and TV programs. His flagship book for the beginner is Simple Changes, which boasts ‘your one hundred ways to a happier, healthier life’ – a list, the author sadly declaims, that ‘won’t find much airtime on the BBC or any other channel anytime soon.’
